Hi, I'm Ali.
My journey with yoga began over a decade ago, during a difficult period of living with chronic back pain. I had always enjoyed being active, but a sedentary office job and other lifestyle factors gradually led to pain, injury, medications, and times when even everyday tasks felt overwhelming.
After exhausting conventional medical treatments and facing a discouraging prognosis, I began to explore alternative ways to support my healing. That shift—taking responsibility for my recovery and wellbeing—changed everything.
Through yoga and holistic approaches to nutrition and lifestyle, I experienced real, lasting improvements. Yoga helped me reclaim movement and strength, even when it meant starting slowly—on a chair, or with layers of padding just to lie down. I was fortunate to learn from teachers who reminded me that yoga is for every body, and that showing up, exactly as you are, is what matters most. As my body healed, I also became mentally and emotionally stronger, reconnecting with the mind-body awareness I hadn’t even realised I’d lost. That reconnection became the foundation for a more resilient, balanced, and fulfilling life.
This journey led me to complete a yoga teacher training course in India, and to study Holistic Nutrition—combining insights from ancient Eastern systems, like Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. These gave me a meaningful understanding of my body and how to support its needs through diet and lifestyle. Rooted in the five elements (space, air, fire, water, and earth), Ayurveda helped me see myself as part of nature—and live more in harmony with it.
Today, I bring that lived experience and training into the work I do with others. I offer gentle, empowering coaching in nutrition, yoga and lifestyle practices to support people recovering from chronic pain or struggling with mobility. Whether pain is still part of your life or you’re simply looking to live more fully and freely, I’m here to help you find your own way forward—at your own pace, with compassion and care.
