Information
At Elementalli, holistic means caring for the whole of you — not just where the discomfort shows up. Nutrition, yoga, and lifestyle each influence how your body feels, and together they create a foundation of steadiness and support. By combining these three elements into your programme, we help your body find more ease and balance in everyday life.

Lifestyle matters
Daily routines and patterns , sleep, stress levels, and how you move through your environment all shape how your back feels. Small, intentional shifts — in rest, practices, posture habits, and self-care - can support your body’s ability to settle, restore balance, and adapt to the demands of everyday living.

Yoga
Yoga poses (or asanas in Sanskrit) were originally designed to prepare the body and mind for meditation. Part of the beauty of the physical practice is its adaptability; every pose can be shaped to meet any body and any ability. Approaching your practice with ease (sukham) and steadiness (sthira) creates a balance that allows the body to move with both comfort and confidence.
Gentle, mindful movement helps release tension, improve mobility, and support the nervous system. Yoga also encourages better posture, clearer body awareness, and smoother movement patterns, which can reduce strain on the back and create a greater sense of comfort, ease and confidence in daily life.

Nutritional guidance
Our bodies are built from the food we eat. Seeing each meal as an opportunity for nourishment and self-care is a simple way to make help make choices that nurture your overall wellbeing.
Nourishing your body with balanced, supportive foods can reduce inflammation, stabilise energy, and improve digestion - all of which influence how the body manages discomfort. When your system is nourished and stable, your muscles, joints, and tissues have what they need to feel more resilient and at ease.

Seasonal living
Seasonal living is about being mindful of seasonal changes and adapting your activities to work in harmony with nature's rhythms.
As autumn's colours fade, and winter arrives what can we do to help us stay well?
Keeping warm: this may sound obvious but wrapping up with suitable layers of clothes is just the start.
- Eating and drinking warm and well seasoned foods will ensure you are warmed from the inside as well as outside. Think soups and stews rather than cold or chilled food or drinks. Herbal teas with spices such as ginger or chai also have a warming effect on the body.
- Gentle regular exercise helps us to keep warm and stimulate circulation.
- When you wrap up warm, focus on protecting your sensitive areas- your extremities; hands, feet, ears and nose, your head and neck, and your torso.
Prioritise rest: with shorter daylight hours and more darkness, the season invites more rest and sleep. Aim to have a regular bed time allowing the body time to repair and recharge. Try to catch some fresh air and daylight, (you may be lucky enough to find some sunshine), to help your body adjust to the new season.
