Medical care is essential, but persistent pain doesn’t always respond as we hope. And most of our time is spent outside the healthcare system, so the daily care we offer ourselves truly matters.
This 12 week programme gives you a steady, supportive space to explore that everyday care. You’ll be guided through simple tools, practices, and lifestyle approaches that help you move at your own pace. Real change takes time - and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Your 12 week programme includes:
- 1 hour online coaching per week
- 30 minute personalised yoga practice per week
- Short personalised yoga videos to build your own practice

12 week programme
All programmes will be personalised and tailored to best support your body, goals and circumstances. Content and ordering may therefore vary if needed.
Weeks 1-4
- Reflection time: a holistic review of YOU. Understanding your starting point and how you arrived there, helps inform how we move forward. Setting your intentions and goals for the programme.
- Self-familiarisation: Recognising your patterns, triggers, building coping mechanisms and strategies, building awareness, incorporating relaxation.
- Lifestyle tools: how to move safely, optimise your rest, planning activities and pain management, including tools to lift your mood.
- Nutritional tools: Holistic dietary review and some best practices, and steps to optimise nutrition. Discover your unique constitution: an introduction to Ayurveda, what is it and how it can help us live a more balanced life.
Weeks 5-8
- Healthy Restorative Practices: how we relax, sleep and calm ourselves all have important roles to play in a healthy lifestyle. All benefit mental and physical wellbeing, allowing the body to repair and recharge.
- Explore your individual constitution: your Ayurvedic body type – build a lifestyle to support your unique constitution. How to identify and address imbalances.
- Exploring your creativity: creative activities can help reduce stress, boost mental well-being. It also helps self-expression which can become stilted through persistent pain cycles.
- Holistic lifestyle tools; Yoga provides a whole blueprint for lifestyle through it's ancient texts which provides powerful guidance. Plus basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (5 elements, yin & yang, acupressure).
Weeks 9-12
- Create your own asana practice: together we'll build some short yoga practices to continue own practice after programme completion.
- Cooking tips and techniques: practical nutrition planning, seasonal eating and living, adapting and preparing through the seasons physically & energetically.
- Create your lifestyle guide Review and reflection on lifestyle. Creating your plan and supportive environment post programme.
- Topic of your choice: Open session to further explore any area of your choice.
Throughout the 12 weeks
- Short accessible yoga asana practices;
- Adapted for your body to gradually build movement
- Meditation & pranayama (breath work) to calm and regulate nervous system
- All practices to support your rebalancing and renewal journey

My journey continues...
Our bodies come with no guarantees, but we can choose to learn how to listen to them and care for them with patience and compassion. Gaining the knowledge and skills to navigate pain can help us feel more empowered and more in control of our lives. I’m still learning, and I’m continually amazed by what my body allows me to do. I started running this year and have watched my health and fitness steadily improve. Yet my greatest victory remains something far simpler: the day I completed a 10-minute walk around the block after deciding to take responsibility for my wellbeing. I stumbled my way through my healing journey, and the lessons I learned along the way have now become the foundation of this programme — created for others living with chronic back pain who are trying to find a way to live more fully and freely.
